This policy exists because we believe in what weโ€™ve made. We truly think this will be the most thoughtful, well-designed grip youโ€™ve ever held.

We ask that you take this offer seriously as returns have a real financial impact on our small team.

But at the same time, we donโ€™t want you to keep something that isnโ€™t truly awesome for you.

What is the Awesome Test Drive?

The Awesome Test Drive is a limited-time promotional return program, active only during new product launches. It gives you the chance to test your grip on your own camera and in your own workflow before committing.

If it doesnโ€™t feel right, weโ€™ll take it back and refund the full product amount paid to us.

How it Works โ€” Step by Step

  1. Try the grip

    You have 3 full days from the delivery date (based on the carrierโ€™s tracking) to test the grip.

  2. Request a return

    • If youโ€™re not satisfied, contact us within 3 days of delivery at info@awesomegrips.com & include your order number.

    • To help us process the return and continue improving our products, we may request:

      • Photo of the grip mounted on your camera

      • Photo or brief note showing what didnโ€™t work for you – whether itโ€™s fit, feel, comfort, or anything else

      This isnโ€™t to question your return, itโ€™s simply to help us understand what didnโ€™t click, so we can keep making our grips better for everyone.

  3. Receive your return label

    Weโ€™ll email you a prepaid return shipping label (free of charge) within 24-48 working hours.

  4. Ship it back

    • You must ship the item within 3 business days of receiving the return label.

    • Be sure to pack it securely in its original packaging or special return packaging that will be included.

  5. Inspection on our end

    Once we receive the grip, weโ€™ll inspect it to confirm that it meets the as-new condition requirements (see below).

  6. Refund issued

    • If everything checks out, weโ€™ll issue a full refund of the product amount paid to us, using your original payment method.

    • Youโ€™ll receive a confirmation once the refund is processed.

What Counts as โ€œAs-Newโ€ Condition?

To qualify for a full refund, the grip must meet all of the following:

  1. Returned in the same condition it was received

  2. No signs of wear, including scratches, dents, scuffs, or other marks

  3. Unmodified – no tampering or alterations

  4. All original components included screws, packaging, inserts, and any included accessories

  5. Clean and properly packed to avoid damage in transit

  6. Must be in resellable condition without any additional work on our end (e.g. no repainting, polishing, rework, or repackaging)

If the grip does not meet these standards, we may offer a partial refund.

Tips for Keeping It “As-New”

To help ensure youโ€™re eligible for a full refund, here are a few simple tips during your 3-day trial:

  1. Mount it carefully โ€“ Avoid over-tightening the assembly screw.

  2. Test it indoors if possible โ€“ This reduces the risk of cosmetic wear or exposure to dust, moisture or rough surfaces.

  3. Focus on the feel โ€“ Use the time to understand how it balances, how it fits in your hand, and how it improves your overall handling.

  4. Avoid extended outdoor use โ€“ Especially in environments where the grip might get scratched or scuffed.

  5. Keep all packaging and parts safe โ€“ Youโ€™ll need to return everything in original or provided return packaging.

These arenโ€™t requirements, but theyโ€™ll help you make the most of your trial without compromising your eligibility for a full refund.
