No coatings. No paint. No artificial texture.
The AG100RF Bare Metal finish exposes the material exactly as it was designed to be used – honest, tactile, and deliberate. The surface you feel is solid aluminum, carefully contoured and refined to work with the hand rather than against it.
Instead of relying on rubberized coatings or aggressive texturing, the grip uses precise ergonomic geometry. The smooth aluminum surface allows the hand to settle naturally, while the sculpted contours create subtle resistance where it matters. The result is a grip that doesn’t need to be squeezed, the camera simply wedges into your hand – locked in place by form not friction.
Because the surface is bare metal, every curve is felt exactly as designed. The grip remains cool, smooth, and consistent over time, developing character rather than wearing out. There’s nothing to peel, chip, or degrade – just aluminum doing what aluminum does best.
A soft, smooth finish with a refined sheen. Smooth to the touch, understated in appearance, and perfectly balanced between elegance and utility.
A mirror finish that highlights the sculpted geometry and machining details. Visually striking, yet just as functional – proof that precision and beauty can coexist.
AG100RF is a one-to-one adaptation of the acclaimed AGX106, brought to life for the larger Fujifilm GFX100RF. There are no design changes, no new features, and no conceptual shifts. It carries forward every signature element from AGX106, now perfectly scaled to fit the GFX100RF body. This grip is not a redesign, it’s a direct fitment that respects the GFX’s scale while preserving everything that made the original exceptional.
If you already understand the design philosophy behind AGX106, you’ll feel right at home here. If you’re new, you’re about to experience an entirely different approach to camera ergonomics, one that moves support to where it truly belongs, the palm and thumb.
Rather than bulking up the front of the camera to wrap around your fingers, AG100RF supports the hand from the back, where the palm naturally rests and the thumb anchors. This creates a secure, comfortable, and confident hold that doesn’t change the way you grip your camera, it simply reinforces it. Buttons and dials remain easily accessible, and the natural balance of the GFX100RF is preserved.
The Pinky Arc is a smooth cutout at the front-bottom edge of the grip. It allows your pinky finger to slide underneath the body in a natural way, providing stability and comfort, especially important on taller cameras like the GFX100RF. This design detail improves support without adding height or disrupting the clean profile of the baseplate.
This is not a standard dovetail plate added below the grip. Instead, the Arca-style dovetail is inlaid into the grip body itself. There are no protrusions, no added bulk, and no need for extra mounting accessories. The result is a quick change mounting system that is integrated, ergonomic, and visually unobtrusive.
The AG100RF wraps around the base of the GFX100RF with precision. It follows the contours of the camera body, locking in securely and blending visually. This Cradle Fit design protects the underside of the camera while making the grip look like a factory part, not an afterthought. It adds strength and stability without interfering with the camera’s identity.
AG100RF is CNC machined from a solid block of aerospace-grade aluminum, with no cast parts or shortcuts. Every surface is carefully cut, every transition is intentional, and the final finish is hand detailed. The result is a grip that is strong, lightweight, and built to last, offering a tactile experience that matches the premium build of the GFX100RF.
